How to Deposit/Withdraw via Etana on Binance

What is Etana?

Etana Custody is a custody service that enables users to deposit 16 currencies such as GBP(British pound sterling) and EUR(Euro) and use it to purchase cryptocurrency with their linked Binance account.

To get started, you will need to sign up for an Etana Account and link it to your Binance account. If you already have an Etana account, the guide below also shows you how to link both accounts.

Once both accounts are linked, you will be able to transfer funds between your Etana Account and Binance account instantly.

*There’s a US $150 deposit/withdrawal minimum between your bank and Etana and any other wire fees that might be assessed by intermediary banks.

The bank wire fee is a fixed USD $35 which will be charged in the local currency based on the current exchange rate.

Maximum amounts are tied to your Binance account limits.

The normal processing time is 2-5 business days.

Transfer between Binance and Etana:

Transfers between other linked accounts and Binance on Etana are free and instant.

To fund your Binance account with Etana, you’ll need to:

1. Log in to Binance and navigate to the fiat deposit page.

2. Initiate a fiat deposit to your linked Etana account.

3. Transfer funds to your Etana account. (Please refer to “How to transfer funds to your Etana account?”)

4. Once Etana Custody confirms that the fund transfer has been completed, your Binance account will be credited automatically.

How to set up an Etana account

Visit prod.etana.com

Enter your email address.

Create a password (must include both upper cases and lower case letters and at least one number).

Select “Sign up”.

Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) with Google Authenticator.

A confirmation email will be sent with a confirmation code. Fill the code on the website and you’ll enter the next step.

Register as an Individual user or a corporate user.

Fill in your legal name and phone number.

Confirm your identity with your passport, driver license, or national ID card.

Upload your passport with the information page open and a selfie with yourself holding the passport or ID with today’s date, your signature and the text “For Etana Use only”.


Fill in your currency residential information and upload a proof of address document which can be electricity, gas, water or home internet bill.


Fill out additional information including employment, education and investment experience and upload any additional supporting documents.


Fill out your funding information and upload any additional supporting documents to prove your source of funds.

Fill in your bank account information and upload an image of your bank statement.


Fill out your political declaration information and click next to save and continue.


You will then see the status of your application. If you’d like to enquire about your application status, contact the Etana support team through the support function on the dashboard.



Once your account is approved, read and sign the Custody agreement.

Once your profile and funding account is approved, you can start transacting.

How to link your Etana Account to your Binance account?

Log in to your Binance account and select “Spot wallet” in the wallet drop down on the top right-hand corner.

Select Deposit.

Select Fiat and a currency.

Select Etana as the payment method then enter and confirm the deposit amount then click continue.

You will be redirected to Etana’s website to link your accounts.

Select Binance as the agent then enter your Binance account email address as the agent account identifier.

You will receive a confirmation email, click accept to confirm linking accounts.

After the accounts are linked, simply deposit through Etana.

How to Deposit through Etana Custody on Binance

Log in to your Binance account. Select “Spot wallet” in the wallet drop down on the top right-hand corner.

Select Deposit.

Select a fiat currency and Etana Custody as the payment method.

Read and agree to the disclaimer then click Confirm.

Your deposit order has been submitted. You may check order status in deposit history or make a new deposit.

How to Withdraw from your Binance account to your Etana account?

Select spot-wallet.

Select Withdraw.

Select “Fiat”.

Select a fiat currency.

Click Etana Custody as a trade channel.

Fill in the trade amount, then select continue.

Read and agree to the disclaimer, and click Submit.

Confirm your withdrawal, and then fill in the verification code.


Verify the withdrawal request through email.

How to transfer funds to your Etana account?

Select “Accounts” from the menu on the top left menu then select “Deposit”.

Select your deposit asset type, fill in an amount and select an external source account.

Double-check all the information is correct for the funding account.
(Please note you will have to complete the wire via your bank, it will not be automatically submitted here. When you complete the wire at your bank, remember to add the wire notes to ensure the funds are credited to your account.)
